Chapter 5 - How To Stay Out of Jail:  Learning to Control My Body

Almost everywhere, children with sexual touching problems are given help so that they can learn to stop wrong sexual touching.  If they are not able to stop by about age 12, they might get into serious trouble and they might have to go to jail.

Sandy is 11 an has been in counseling for about six months because of her touching problems.  Here's what she has to say:

"I have sexual problems, and I have touched other young kids in wrong ways.  Sometimes it is hard for me to stop.  I had a lot of sexual problems, and I almost got put in jail for them.  I know one thing for sure--I do not want to go to kid's jail.  If you are reading this book, then you probably have the same problem I so.  So, if you have sexual problems, you getter learn to control it, or you might end up hearing a judge tell you you're going to jail."
